FS: Laser Sport rally car, whole or sell as parts

[TX3 Rally]

My Laser Sport (16 valve TX3) is up for sale - I just don't have the time to use it.

Comes complete with just about everything you could ever wish for -

1600cc DOHC 16v engine, that has had just about everything possible done to it -
Carillo A beam rods,
Custom CP forged pistons with low drag rings
Ferrea Valve Springs and Valve Spring retainers
Ferrea oversize intake and exhaust valves
Custom mechanical camshafts
Hydraulic lifters/tappets have all been replaced by mechanical
Port job
Fully balanced and blueprinted
10.7 to 1 compression so runs nicely on BP Ultimate
Motec injection, quad 45mm throttle bodies, custom extractors into 2.5 inch exhaust
Enough kw and torque for a half decent driver to do very well in P2 (and the Alpine) with the current very conservative tune, and about 30 more kw available with a tune that is still quite safe while using BP Ultimate.
Engine has done 110km competitive.

Albins close ratio 5 speed dogbox and LSD
Huge driveshafts
Big front brakes from GTR Mazda, Race Brakes RB74 pads all around (done about 110km competitive), adjustable bias, braided lines all around.
Hydraulic and mechanical handbrakes
extra VDO gauges, plus shift light and rev limiter
Mazda GTR steering rack - just been fully reco'd (2.2 turns lock to lock), Sparco suede steering wheel
Power steering with cooler
Fully caged with intrusion bars etc
Koni Suspension
Velo Apex seats with integral side head restraints (FIA approved)
Scroth 6 point harnesses both sides. Harnesses are fully set up for HANS use if desired.
Light pod with 4x IPF driving lights with HID globes
New Brantz Laser 3 tripmeter with wireless remote, 1 wheel probe fitted plus a spare (done 76km competitive)
2x Stilo WRC intercoms (done 100km competitive), complete with transport/recce headsets, and spare headset, maplight fitted
Footrest for both driver and co-driver
Plumbed in 4 litre AFFF fire bomb plus the required 2x handheld extinguishers
Helmet Hammock, first aid kit, and 2 rally triangles
Jack has wheel nut welded on, and there is a DeWalt 18v battery powered rattle gun.
About 20-30 white mags - look similar to Compomotive, all with tyres on them, a lot of them freshly powder coated
Close to 30 tyres, some stuffed, some with reasonable tread left, 4 Silverstone 505's that are basically new, 5(?) Yokohama full kevlar AO35's that are also basically new
5 or 6 plastic fuel jerry cans
2 or 3 big plastic boxes with lids to carry bits and pieces for servicing
Big pop up awning thingy for servicing under car under
Tarps
toolboxes and tools
1 Stilo full face helmet with integrated intercom
2 x Schroth Pro lightweight carbon fibre HANS devices
various race suits
and probably heaps of other stuff that I have forgotten.
Dual axle trailer

Car has had new front put on it, just needs engine/gearbox/grille/headlights and guards put back.

Asking $12,000 for the whole lot - may consider offers as it is just gathering dust.

Everything is in a storage unit in Mornington, Vic.

Everything is now sold - and I am very very happy to be able to say that it hasn't been parted out and that sometime in the coming months it will start resonating it's glorious sounds across the rally roads of Canberra - congrats to the new owner

Well technically it was a left then right around a big hole - I missed the left and right but bullseye'd the hole
