Hi Spence,

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but what is special about TRX wheel nuts?

I have a reasonable sized tin of various Mag nuts for Datsuns... left over from the numerous Datsun rally cars I have owned and run over the years. I have no idea what is in there, but if I have what you are looking for I'll gladly give some of them to you... gratis... and even pay the postage too!

I won't send them all, as I'd prefer to give them out as and when really needed (plus who knows, maybe one day I'll own another Datto ).. but if I do have something thats right, I'll gladly send you a bunch of them.

Maybe you could do a sketch or post a pic with what they look like, and I'll then go digging and see if I can find that old bread tin full of wheel nuts I have in the shed!

Cheers

David

Shouldn't they be in a baby formula tin? Like in every shed I've seen including those that have never had kids.

I am sure I have one or two (or maybe 6 ) of those with bits and pieces in them too

Plus dozens of little Heinz baby food jars with different sized nuts, washers, small bolts and screws etc.... the odd large Vegemite jar with bits.. a few Milo tins... and even some old Ice Cream tins (God only knows when Ice Cream last came in tins) that I inherited from my father... plus a few old (I think pre-War) tobacco tins with tyre valves and suchlike.. that my dad, got from his dad!

I could go on!

ahhh... I love my shed! Its just lacking something meaningful to tinker with in there at present!

sighhhhhhhhh

David

Spence,

The dude at Lennocks reckoned that the TRX nuts were the same as ET Pulsar, and while TRX nuts were listed at $8.90 each, the ET Pulsar ones were only $2.70, which suited me fine. I stocked up on them. The ET Pulsar ones are 2mm shorter, and matt black, but otherwise identical.

Part Number - N40224V9810, NS Nut-Road Wheel.

Hope this helps.

G Day,
TRX wheel nuts are diff to most other datsun, They have a combination of a ALLOY MAG parallell nut with a 60Deg tapered seat like a steel wheel not a washer like most alloy mags.

I just bought a bag full that wernt quite right but 2 min in a lathe shortening the parallell section by 7mm fixes the prob.

TRX wheel nuts

They are not TRX wheel nuts, the shank is too long
