Stolen lancer bits!!!!!!!
I really hope that they weren't taken by any one here, but my mothers shed was broken into last Wednesday night and most of my bits were taken.
Stolen were
2 44mm sidedraft Solex carbs in a factory manifold with factory (grey oval) airfilter
2 45DCOE Webers on LYNX manifold, The manifold is welded on the rear top mounting hole.
1x 4.6:1 Lancer LSD centre
1x #5 camshaft
2 sets C2 pistons and rings
There are other bits and pieces missing as well, but the parts listed above are the ones that are not really replacable.
Any information leading to the return of these would be greatly appreciated as without these,my proposed build cannot go ahead.

Stolen lancer bits!
Please keep an eye open for these.

these bits were acquired by me about 30 years ago when I had my GA Galant rally car and were to be used when I build my new GA.
If anyone hears of them, please let me know.

I understand your frustration - we lost a ton of Mazda stuff about 10 years back and never saw it again, despite knowing who took it - but one thread is plenty.
Will definitely keep my eyes open!

Plenty of Lancer folk on here. If I hear of anything suspicious for sale we'll let you know.

My Webers have been found
A slight consolation,I got a call from a mechanic at Forbes asking about my missing webers.
Apparently,a young guy came in with a pair of 45s on a Lynx galant manifold wanting them rekitted.
The mechanic must have remembered my description of the welded manifold and notified the local constabulary.
The young kid claims he bought them from someone in a pub at Parkes and he didn't know him.
I am so lucky that the kid didn't just bolt them onto his Gemini and then try to have them rebuilt.
It will probably be another 6 months till I can get them back from the police.
Just need them to find my diff, pistons, head etc.

Hopefully someone might be able to point in the direction of the rest of it.
Let me know when you find out and I'll speak to Dad and see if he can shed any light.
