Wanted: Datsun 120y parts
Hi all,
Struck a problem in my 120Y project and i need some parts:
EDIT: Mucked up my words here. I need a complete master cylinder, or master cylinder kit, because the rubbers on the pistons in mine are ruined. I need the one with two tanks on it, not the large single tank. The car is 12/1975.
front left guard, with not major warps or dents (any front guards would be welcome though, not just the left one.)
I really have barely any money to play with here, so maybe if you have an old master cylinder sitting around the shed or something let me know. Guards are not as high priority, but it would be great if someone had a cheap one out there. The guards on the front of my car were absolutely shocking, but i put in the hours and got the front right one up to scratch, but if i can fin another left in good condition, i'll prime the original and keep it for a spare.
EDIT: I'm near canberra, so anywhere around that area. even if you aren't post anyway because i might know someone near you etc.
thankyou,
clancy
p.s i'm 15, the reason for the tight budget, not being stingy.

Where are you located?
Parts in Melbourne aren't going to help if you're in Queensland somewhere.

hey mate, if you can make it to melba with a ute or trailer you can have a couple of 120Y bonnets, very straight sedan bumpers, grilles and a guard (cant remember off the top of my head whether left or right. it has had some work to fit big tyres. All free if you collect. PM me if interested.
Also do you want early or late (PBR) master cylinder, boosted or not?

Melba, not Melbourne. As in the suburb near Belconnen.

The guard is brilliant, just what i needed, means i can get the paint on the car a lot sooner than i could have before! love the skull design on the bonnet too i'll copy it and do a nice one on the finished car. not sure what you mean by jellybeans, but on my car in the pic, at the front there are two Globe 14" and at the back two deep CSA 14"
i have a full set of CSA's but only 3 of the globes. The CSA wheels will go on the front but they rub a little on the disc brake caliper. They fit on the back fine too, but any rubbing on the outside edge would be eliminated by a low profile tyre anyway yeah
