My TM has been faultlessly reliable, and unlike my old (1988) KTM, parts have never been a problem.
Anything you want takes three days to be sent down from Cessnock, but everything you want takes three days, if you see my point.
Selling is not really an issue - I intend on keeping my TM because it's worth so little and it's still a great bike, so there's no point in selling it.
And KTM200s are so much cheaper than 250s! This is part of my motivation for the 200... There's an apparently good one on allclassifieds for $3200 ATM...
Don't want a four stroke - they're still too expensive, particularly WRT parts if/when it lets go... Unless I got something boring like a Doctor Zed, but if I did that, I may as well just go and buy a postie bike...
Claude, why does it surprise me so little that you've ridden dirt bikes since forever?

You don't think the postie bike example was chosen at random, do you?

Yeah....I've been around a bit Spac.
I probably ride a dirt bike better than I drive a car
I hope you have some luck selling the Mazda BTW !
That's what this thread was initially about....wasn't it ?

TM is very not registered, but I like the idea.
I seem to recall Dave telling me that I was welcome to ride his 450 while he was out of action...
Who's got a dirt bike?
TKM (unreg)
TKM Jnr,
Swill,
H-man,
Dave R,
Spac (unreg),
Pete E (unreg),
Slim Tim (I assume he still has it),
Simey.
Anyone else?

Ummmm did I say that? must have been when I was off my chops on morphine. But take it for a spin when we go for a ride. Belinda and I are both keen.

There might be the original belts in the spare shell. I'll have a look tonight and send you a PM if I do (no answer = no belts). Dunno if I'd trust the driver's one though - the spare car has taken a moderate hit and I'd consider it borderline whether you'd want to re-use the belt that actually had someone in it at the time...
No plastic bits, sorry.
