This is a very persuasive theory.
Particularly as the dog is - if you look carefully - both understeering and oversteering simultaneously!

Dear Mr Trees
On behalf of several sensitive 4WD kiddies on another thread, I must ask you to refrain from using the words "dog" and "4WD" in the same sentence.
Yours sincerely

Just to confirm Mr M. Thompson Esq. has a fine theory:
Please note the monkey is steering the dog, and the dog is travelling in a direction opposite to that of the steering input. Please observe that all photos of aforementioned 180B share this trait.
That is all.
P.S. - The Alpine was the topsest. -It's all about the vibe-

Just got mine in th mail yesterday (Thanks Mick), very cool looking at video quality rather than YouTube. And the noise... pure noise without music (after the intro).
Well worth it.
cheers

Remarkably*, Spac, there's one point where you seem to be doing the business . Quite respectable progress, at a corner that brought out the goose-instinct in many of your fellow competitors.
* in view of your first-stage misfiring on THRs

Funny you should mention that... I was happy with how I drove at the event - while I was conservative, we were reasonably fast (all things are relative....), and had no moments.
Then I saw the photos of everyone else, and it was clear that we "should" have been trying a lot harder...

Well, maybe one half a moment ...... or maybe that was just me not catching on to your new experimental cornering technique*

Yeh agree, the volvo looked clean and tidy.
The biggest moment of note is the incar of Stewy pulling what sounds like 5th before what looks like caution dip into a TL on crest. It's the second incar bit between the 4 and 5min mark.
cheers

Yes, one of the vids has some Escort footage (not a lot). I have the link at home, I'll put it up tonight.

I still shudder everytime I see that Damien! Yeah he hits 5th gear and then you can see where the texture of the road changes as its a different colour. He hits he way too fast but there was nothing in the book about it so thats why he didnt slow down and yeah then he nearly hits a tree!!!!!! Someone was looking out for him that day thats for sure!
