Sportsclassic Tomerong SKDAC Rally
Yep myself and Ryan are both ok, but very sore and bruised. Thats what happens when u have a 80-90km/h impact with a tree, for instance pushing the front headlight back into the firewall. And guess what....... the tree won.
The Proton is very much second hand.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the recovery and made sure we were both ok
Also thanks to all the organisers and officials for a good event.
Cheers
Dean Price

Sportsclassic Tomerong SKDAC Rally
From a spectator point of view we had a great day.
Congrats to Ric on the win and Pete and Lizzy on organising a top event.
Photo below is of Mr Cary. It's off the video camera. Will upload some video when I can figure out why the video keeps going really dark on production(ideas anyone. maybe send me a PM).

Adriana (navved for Adam Casmiri) went to hospital after thinking her ribs were more than just normal from a roll type sore. I spoke with Carlos before the event finished and they were waiting on getting X-rayed, I expect that she'll be fine if not a bit sore for a little while.
Full event report to come. We're going to have some dinner and watch a movie. And maybe the speedway if it's on in Goulburn tonight.

Moved cause it was in the wrong spot
Big thanks to all the officials and organisers from SKDAC great little event, roads were tricky and challenging and unforunately it seemed like the humps caught a few people out. great fight all day with Clinton Croker with us only 2 secs in front after the first 2 runs although in the reverse we seemed to move away a bit more big thanks to Rob who as usual fulfilled his contractual obligations of 4 correct calls per event. and comiserations to those who broke their toys

BIG thanks to SKDAC! Top little event...for us...Commiserations to the unfortunate DNFers.
SS1-Slow. Humps. How do I drive? Oh dear, there's a Subaru on its roof. Interesting start to the rally.
SS2-Slightly less slow. Still humps. Messy Proton near end of stage. Still in and no damage, so I'm happy.
Spent 2nd regroup looking at footage from my new in car 'action cam' (thanks Bryony for the awesome bday present!) on mum's laptop (thanks mum!) and footage is great.
SS3-This is better! Starting to get a handle on how to drive again - stopped
2 1/2kms in and exit via speccy point-advised car 8 blocking road. Doh!
SS3-Take2-How awesome is a stage being canned and still getting another go at it! Starting to work out how to drive, playing up a bit whenever I saw a camera on the side of the road and came out the other side in one piece.
SS4-Really enjoying myself, and arrived at the final finish control with much fist pumping and joy. Stoked that we finished!
Again, thanks to SKDAC, and thanks to Dave Navving-I know that we're both rusty and I've stuck us into the trees you first in the past, but thanks for jumping back in again!!!!!-and to my service crew, Dad, Rick and Michael who thankfully only had to keep the windows clean (spectacular job..hehe). And of course my lovely Bryony - first rally for her and she enjoyed it! (tick!).

Bugger. Everything from the firewall back should be fine. Get a front cut and a grinder, you'll be back in no time.

Ric is now a fully fledged member of the Ari Inall flight school. Titanium cross member for next rally. Inertial navigation system will be needed too(Rob can program between rallies to take into account the Coriolis effect).
Well done to the Scary Canary !

Hi all, you will find the unedited version of the stage one and two.
I will get stage three jump (one of) and others up as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks to Peter and Lizzie and all the other volunteers for a great day of friendly rallying.
I co drove for David Stephens in the Sylvia, all went well untill just before we were due to start when I realized I did not have the adaptor for my helmet to the Terraphone so had no intercom, so to the people who were at one of the spectator points I was not giving you all the finger, I was indicating one of the many humps.
We used the event to make some tuning adjustments to the car and our thanks to J.W. for coming down to make the adjustments.
Congrats to Ric on his win and as Ric said commiserations to all who hit anything harder than dust
