John Watson Khanacross Tri-Series - Round 1
Well, it was a good day for many, and a crap day for some.
First up, a big round of applause and cheers for Dave Ferris and the LCCC. It is excellent to see someone else taking up the challenge of running a few events, and Dave has put these events together so that anyone could organise it.
The Team Versus 180B had soms issues all day, and Mrs Fro and I went home a little frustrated, but I'd much rather find these problems now than at Bathurst.
I did have a lot of fun, but the car still obviously needs some tuning (although not a whole lot). Mrs Fro is seriously considering being at the next one, taking the challenge up to Ms. Austin.
Now, just to get back in the shed, and get this thing running right!

Anyone got any results? I left before the end of the last run, so didn't get an idea of where I finised in the now motorsport prepared Good Ship Good Sense.
I had a ball. Thanks Dave and other LCCC volunteers. Top effort that.

I too had a good day, although the 323 of Speed appeared to be well off the pace (it's easier to blame the lack of horsepower and rally tyres than to consider that it might actually be the driver ). Mrs Fro can consider herself challenged
Thanks to Dave and all the other LCCC people for running the event, it's really appreciated and you did a great job.

I think there is a problem with the results. If all the times are left in seconds insted of mins and secs then by my calculations the results change slightly.
See attached file for my version, this sees Nathan move infront of Richard, Paul and Ty bunny hop myself and blake Stevens and Mrs Fro swap positions.
I just throught I should bring this up, to see whether the time keepers miss calculated or if I have the wrong idea.
Please comment.

So ... Mrs Fro beat Mr Fro. Top effort Novice Naomi!!! I don't want to know about Mr Fro's mechanical excuses
I'm sure he immediately had a variety of "if only" stories at the ready after his public whipping on Sunday by his missus

Nope... she was sensible. I wasn't. I paid the ultimate penalty. The car was equally crap for both of us. And now she's driven it, she's demanding it get tuned, and I get the gearbox attended too. Authorised/enforced spending on the rally car! Yay!
Just don't ask me about her and I riding motorbikes... she kicks my ass at that too. God, I love her!

No - at least he had the good grace to realise he's a circle-working bogan and that his wifey kicked his arse because she's better than him...
Pete went faster in my car than I did, so I'm not really in a position to give Fro too much of a hard time...

Yeah tis my fault if I can find what you're looking for... just as I have a quick lookie-poo i notice you've got 67 secs for the WD penalty, whould be 68 (Mrs Fro 63 plus 5)
wanna make my life easy and tell me where i stuffed it???
disclaimer: those that were present at the event will understand why my brain was not working. and if you still gimme shyt, lets see you count in base 60 without a calculator hungover.

I had lots of fun, despite me not driving very well. Thanks to everyone who helped organise it, especially dave.
Any chance of getting an update of what the current standings for the shield are?

we worked on slowest time + 5 (thanks fitzy- someone knows the rules!!!)
63+5=68
But that doesn't account for everything, did I miss count something?
I blame the bulmers at the irish club then stuart macgill for being a tosser.
