Nah, the paint job on the Quill/Heffernan/Blair/Smith one is a LOT better than on H-man's car.

That's the one.
Mitch Heffernan was quite quick in it a couple of years back, Darren never seemed to get a handle on it, now Mad Mal owns it. He had a ****ty run at Oberon, with it fouling plugs all the time, but he's confidant that he can get it sorted, and toast some lemmings.
No longer EFI, fuel tank is now back in the original position (my guess is that someone got pinged for not having a spare wheel well).

Yep, that car certainly was a "weapon" when Rowan had it .... & you would not BELIEVE the amount of money that was spent building it.
Its a shame Ro never kept competing after winning the Junior Challenge in 1997 - he certainly has talent.

It will be the 2004 weapon... The Built Weapon is a lot prettier, and has a better cage than the Bought Weapon.
Bought Weapon will probably donate its good bits and be sold off as a lower spec car (or kept as a spare or something).
And Built Weapon will have a new motor, thanks to ARCom... .
Well, that was the last I heard anyhow - I'm sure Mal will correct me tonight (if he sees this!).

Hagar, I think I have some idea... I was talking to Anthony Rodrigues when Rowan had it... And knowing a figure for Heimo's car...

Time for the "I'm out of the loop and I have no idea what you are talking about" question.
What change are you talking about - is it just 13Bs into series 3 RX7s or is it something else?

13Bs into 1st gens and maybe into any old school mazda rotary if it's worded right , but it will probably depend on who kicks up a fuss.

Jamie reckons ARCom approved it on the weekend. JW reckoned they were gonna approve it last time, but it didn't quite work out.
I've spoken to Fro about the 'de-railment', and I think that that issue has been sorted.
Or do you know more than I do?
Which reminds me - I've gotta email Mr Trinder....
Raynman - Yeah, that's the one.

Not too bad - pity it comes to late for a lot of people (Dad's RX2 would be a weapon with a 13B bridgeport - actually it is anyway with a 12A) but was a pain in the butt when he was building.
Now if only they will let 12A turbos in first gens...
