Pedder going well to by the looks. Pretty good considering a few years out of the ARC. Looks like it will be a good battle this weekend.

You'd struggle to find 5 NSW drivers interested...

You would struggle to find 5 rally drivers of any sort left in most places.
Honestly - the ARC is a waste of space of the first order.
Top 5 - phooey - you mean the first half of the field

Oh, come on Andrew. Why do you have to be so negative about everything? If you look at it more positively, can't you see that you and I are currently equal 12th?

Bosshair That’s it. I’m leaving a hole in the floor under your seat so you can have a moment like Marcus Gronholm’s navigator, when you take a rock up the !@#$.

Does anyone know what with the live timing? It says that Raymond posted a 4th fastest stage time on the 1st stage of day three. Yet it also says he is 13th overall. How does this work, was there something I missed because I thought that this is what the seperate heats were for? Or do they not have this anymore?

Friday and Sunday are joined together as one heat, and Saturday is a stand alone heat. Hence why (presumably) the Raymonds are behind the eight-ball despite a good performance today as you report?
I know that cut and dice of the event seems somewhat counter-intuitive, but thats the way it has been done for this (tarmac) event this year as well as in the past! (..as I understand it so that this 3 day event still has two heats, and thus the same amount of series points on offer, as the gravel rounds).
..or at least that is my understanding! Happy to be contradicted... and expect to be!
Cheers
David

They sure make the results screen hard to read. There is the ARC section that has all three legs as one cumulative event. There is then another section for ARC SuperRally which shows it as each leg being a seperate heat as you would expect for the ARC.
Looks like Glenney was 150 seconds faster than the top ARC crew. Wonder how much advantage there is to not having to run the 33mm restrictor??
