Trussme Nat Cap Sponsor's Day
A rare moment of indiscretion from Mr Waterhouse... actually a nice save after his brake pedal went to the floor doing 140 on the entry to the corner.
Ray and Andrew (before Andrew broke the Charade)
And PJ shows that you don't need 4 wheel drive, 4 doors or a back seat... thanks for the ride this morning Peter, not sure what happened to the dog though.
The Barretts in action...
The mighty Excel
Michael's Subie
Ian's orange Evo
JS
Sorry guys, that's it. The more runs you did (PJ!!) the better the coverage. See you all next Sunday

My thanks to all the drivers who came out for today's sponsors day. must have been a day for rotary's JW's huge sphincter moment and Ted managed to find a little bank early in the day.
Thanks also to Gordon and Donna, John and Nikki, and of naturally Julie Lucas for helping to make the day happen. There were many very happy punters.
And some nice video from Charles

Had a ball. Thanks to Adrian for putting on the day. Looks like not only did we break the CV joint but a diff as well, will have it fixed shortly.
Was good to get back in the groove, had a spin on the last corner on my last run as was having a bit of a go
The Charade ran well apart from it's cooling issues which will be sorted in the coming weeks with a new Munyard head and new PWR radiator.
Andrew and I still have big grins from such a good day.

Photos: Trussme pick of the day
Today, with the magic of the SLR digital camera, I took around 800 photos of the Sponsors day. I've published 90 of these on my .me website
If anyone wants hi-res copies or prints, or to see more of the 800 photos, PM me.
Enjoy!

Watched the video - rang JW and asked what was going on and he came up with a lame excuse about no brakes, I think he is just old..

Patience... It'll take Charles a while to "speed up" the footage!

Thanks to BlueRex and Kelly for the video and photo's
Well done to Adrian and team for a enjoyable day.
It was good to finally get some K's under the new car, all went well with nothing falling off.
Thanks to all the helpers throughout the day giving plenty of advice and instructions.
Best part of the day was giving a young fellow a run that was so shocked/stunned/amazed and lost for words, and eyes the size of dinner plates .
