The final results are under the event in the rally calendar thats where the rest of us have gotten them from.
Well done on the event Ric considering you only had 4 people to get it done and are still cleaning up the aftermath - had a fantastic time !!! so bravo

I think it's fair to assume that the stewards haven't signed off on the results.
My understanding (which I believe to be correct) is that an uncertain number of incident reports have been received by the organisers regarding an incident involving Peter Roberts leaving the road immediately prior to the spectator point, and then rejoining the road at a point further up the road. It appears Peters car at some point was within the spectator zone.
How it plays out, who is to blame (if their is blame etc) I guess will come out in time. If the decision, hearing. enquiry (whatever) has been deferred a while, for mine, that is a great decision. What we all want is a fair hearing, and a fair outcome. Time is for the most part is irrelevant.
Obviously the persons involved are staying tight-lipped about it to let the course of justice play out fairly. Opinions etc on these forums will only complicate the process.
Ric, Peter etc are most likely under instruction to not comment.
My incar clearly shows where Peter left the road (I was in 5th), it less clearly shows where he re-joined and shows the location of the spectators. If they want it they know how to find me. If not have a look at Charlies incar posted on here.... Peter left the road at 4.37.

Results aren't final... stewards are just to make a decision on an incident involving Car 4 which is provisionally 2nd O/R. That much has been made very clear. If found guilty- it's likely a penalty will be applied. They could be provisional for months as the judicial process plays out.

I understand what Kate & Jamie are saying, however, the question I asked was in relation to the provisional results ( which is their current status on the RoL website), has a protest been lodged?, because according the event supp regs, the only thing preventing the results being declared final is the lodgement of a protest, either that or the results were not posted on the event bulletin board, in which case they do not exist, ya?

I don't think a protest would have been lodged because you have to protest a rule, and/or decision as such.
I assume a charge has been brought... or stewards are intending to bring a charge... or discussing the possibility of a charge?? Who knows?
The thing is this all plays out late in the night when everyone is tired, had a few drinks etc and people are waiting for the presso. Best practice is to defer... take some time and get the outcome right.
I assume that is where it is all at. We just need to chill and let time run it's course. Peter is a big boy... he will handle himself well in all this, and with Ian Bigg on the stewards panel I have faith that the process will be a) fair and in time b) transparent.

If he's not happy with that Ric he will never be happy
Thanks for the comfortable service park - we parked ourselves near the lights - and found we were not too far away from the Lions Club and Barista.
As for car #26 they finished in one piece which was the aim - and we helped out a few other crews as well - car #17 was appreciative of our efforts to get them back out there at the 4th service (we had to do some panel work and two tyre changes as well as assessing whether he should get back out there!) Dave said they made it to the next stage with only seconds to spare.
Who was the poor naviguesser with all over the leg of his suit?

I was taking pics with Dave Watson, and ran into Mark Turon along the way. They both have sites here:
Pitlane Photos
Mark Turon Photography
My computer is importing some shots now, so with the help of a good coffee I might have something to share later with any luck.
Was a great event, especially with the late start and golden hour! We totally blew the first location, as we didn't get out of the car to check the jump. It ended up being a small rise in the road, and was a waste of several hours.
But the second location was gold, some really nice light and ninety degree left up hill.
I actually enjoyed the last half of the rally the most, as I don't excel with flash photography and decided to watch the cars more so than take snaps.

Now a good V8 or a Subie rumble THAT I could understand - 4G63's just sound awful.
(Good motors however)

what the? you compare the sound of a V8 and a **** box water-cooled wolkswagon boxer rubbish?
Subarus sound like they've got a broomstick shoved up their arse.
