I would like to thank the organisers for a great event at Awaba yesterday.

I took the WRX out for a run to test it and had a ball. I have never driven a WRX before and was surprised how well the thing went. I was a bit slower than in my EVO but I was just trying to get used to the car. I really need to do a rally with it before Adam gets hold of it

Congratulations to Southie who won the event...and Giddo who put in some fast times as well.

If anyone got any photos of the WRX I would love to see them.

A great day had by all, I think. A bit wet early on, but came back to a good track. While we never got near to the times set by Southy, Chris and Steve, the tussle with John McInnes and Bernard (until he cleared out ) was good fun.
Many thanks to Col and all those who have gave so much of their time to complete the trackwork.
Also thanks to Dave and the team on the day.
It's always good to get out and catch up with friends on the day. Looking forward to the next event.
