Definitely looks to be an exciting rally, one of the closest in ages, 8 stages down and 4 overall leaders so far
SS1 Petter - Ogier - Latvala
SS2 Petter - Ogier - Latvala
SS3 Sordo - Ogier - Latvala
SS4 Sordo - Ogier - Latvala
SS5 Ogier - Latvala - Sordo
SS6 Ogier - Latvala - Sordo
SS7 Latvala - Ogier - Petter
SS8 Petter - Latvala - Ogier

I'd still put money on the fact that Loeb will win this rally. Tomorrow running down the field he will take seconds/km out of everyone else.

He noted in the shakedown program yesterday that cleaning the roads on this rally is of little gain.

Are there more than 33 still running?

yeah, I know ... soft target.. just that the whole Ford back in the ARC thing promised so much, but delivered so little, that my cynic bone gets twitchy every time I am reminded of them

Hopefully the car will do better than it did at the Otago Rally a few weeks ago.

Commentator: "The mistake in 4, what exactly happened?"
Loeb: "It was a tactic not to be first on the road tomorrow."
OMG!!! The Frenchmen actually has a sense of humour.

The frog is ready to pounce on the lead and petter has slipped back to 5th.
Could not be bothered pursuing the results anymore, boring as bat****.
Just give him the championship trophy now and save some money & dissapointment.

Maybe you should rethink that, Loeb went off on SS19 and dropped down to 4th, only 5 secs behind Petter (3rd) and 1.9 seconds in front of Mikko (5th).

Ogier led by 6.2 going into last stage. Had an off in the last 4 km to allow Latvala through by just over 2 seconds.
Loeb had a couple of spins today trying to bet to podium.
Petter took out a power pole on the last stage - crew OK not sure about the car.
