And rumour has it that McLaren are only better because they have better contracts, with harsher penalties for their contractors/drivers for non-compliance. Allegedly.

Another reason why rallying is the best motor sport. I cant see Hirvonen punting off Loeb who are direct rival's, let alone Latvala punting off Hirvonen.
This is why rallying's relationships are so strong I think.

Hmmmm, maybe? Though given that apparently in some areas of rallying lately it seems one or two believe there are serious sheep stations at play... I hope you (we all) remember that nice sentiment next time you (anyone) catches someone on a stage and they refuse to let you past (or someone plays other shenanigans that many of us might not consider terribly "sporting")!

There are always exceptions, however i generally believe that the average rally person is fair and reasonable. At the start of any stage the competitors starting around each other will generally be happy for a chat/advice. Same as helping in building/maintaining/servicing car's away from events. I have some mates in circuit racing, and it's all very behind closed doors and nobody likes each other or gets on with each other. Rallying may have it's bad eggs, but it's got a long way to go before it's as unfriendly as circuit racing. I can't see Webber and Vettel going out for a beer anytime soon...(i.e, the next 50 years)

Second, they are not mates in any sense of the word. They are just blokes in cars painted the same colour.
So if you re-word your question to read: "why would you overtake that other b'stard in the same colour car as you who's coming first?", the answer becomes clear.

Very true... I agree entirely, though still wish the "bad eggs" would pull their heads in or find somewhere else to play! Sadly it is something that has crept in a bit more lately that formerly simply was hardly if ever seen.

Vettel = mud. There was a shot afterwards that looked and sounded like an aussie trying to get past the red bull entourage to get to vettel and it turned a bit heated!
Also, If you watch the mclarens mix it up a bit later on closely, they touch wheels too, just not at warp speed when **** happens, after the apex when they have washed the speed off, Hamilton clearly clipps wheels on his way back past which the commentators missed. No where near as spectatular but still, vettel should watch and learn how its done before trying that **** on himself. Button and Hamilton really made the red bull pair look like amatures.

The thing that bugs me is that the Red Bull tam boss was saying that Webber should have slowed to let Vettel take the racing line. It's F1, if Webber lifted for a fraction then Mark would have had Hamilton up the inside too.
They seem to love that little German big head. If I were Red Bull I would way rather Mark Webber represent my brand than Vettel but I get the feeling that at the end of the year Webber will be shown the door and Vettel will stay on. Mark always is a gentleman and says Sebastion drove well etc but Vettel never says Mark did well, just that he didn't do well enough himself. Little bugger, I hope Karma keeps biting you on the butt. The only thing he has in common with Schumacher is that he loves himself so much....

What we need now is the Hitler-ranting-video from youtube, with a new script abusing Weber/Vettel/both (depending on your particular preferences/prejudices.)
Wouldn't it be fabulous? And imagine RedBull's reaction

Vettel needs a good old fashioned discussion out the back of the motor home - spoilt little piece of crap.

Vettel fallout?
It is understood that despite suggestions otherwise the real reason for Koehlers resignation is the shame and horror he felt at one of his countrymens actions on the racetrack alongside the arrogance shown by same driver in not recognising in any way his own error!
