Should see the feedback on the Red Bull site, seems ony Helmut Marko and Christian Horner see it one way. Thousands of fans have a totally different view.

red Bull now starting to retract some statements, but alas the damage has been done. Seems Webber was told to switch engine down to fuel save mode and I guess expected Vettel got the same command.

The red Bull bench have a lost a lot of races this year, many more than the drivers.

Vettel should be dropped back to Torro Rosso until he learns how to be a more complete F1 driver.

Vettel still took out Webber (under safety car) back when Vettel was in a Torro Rosso, so it would make no difference Webber said it well back when that happened - something along the lines of young blokes should learn how to effen drive before they join F1

I watched this 100 times on Sunday night on my settop box in HD, rewind, play, slow mo, slo mo rewind, frame by frame, etc etc for ages. No doubt - Vettels fault. Yes, Webber MAY be held partly to blame by some people for not giving more room, but that argument doesn't wash with most people (including me). In racing, it's up to the car behind to complete the overtake, not get most of the way past and then expect the car being overtaken to back off and let him thru.

Did anyone see the drivers interview arfterwards? Button is describing his race, mentions the incident "which I'm sure we'll hear about in a minute" and you see Hamilton lean over to Webber and make hand gestures. Webber listens, then talks and makes similar hand gestures. You could almost see what they were saying -

Hamilton - "I was behind you and saw Vettel go up the inside, then bam, he just turns right into you and takes you both out. wtf happened?"

Webber "dunno mate, I saw he had a run on me so I stayed inside to make him go the long way round or run up the inside on the dirty stuff, so he comes up my inside, then bam, he just turned into me and off we spin"

I think there's a little gem in Webbers remarks. Blind Freddie can see that Mark has absolutely no time for the little prick. When they're on the podium together they don't even shake hands. Mark turns his back on him and sprays the Champagne in the opposite direction.

So why then would Mark, every time he talks about Vettel, always refer to him by the pet name, 'Seb'.

There is only one logical answer. My conclusion is that Sebastion HATES being called Seb.

I'm pretty sure Vettel knows that if he tried to get in Webber's face or get physical, Webber probably has the best right hook of anyone in F1. And Webber is just itching to show it off.

IN Queanbeyan (where I once lived) a Coq was known as a Seb. It is a verbal form of the Masonic handshake: "Well done Seb" and everyone in the know gets it. Remember "Le coq sportif"? That was Vettel's dad. It's genetic. Bit like the war really.

That was the best bit of the post race conference......

Even better I thought was when Vettel was talking Hamilton and Webber were talking about the crashlike school boys. There was no doubt by Hamilton's hand actions that he thought Vettel had turned hard right. Some of these F1 and especially Motogp press conferences are interesting for what isn't caught by the microphones rather than what is said.
