mark pedder quick all day.
dowel quick as well.
raymo top run in aprc ... on kumho ... in front of reeves on pirelli.
quinn broke drivetrain of some kind.
knowles stopped with electrical issue.
shepheard last 4 stages with no clutch due to broken throw out bearing.

due to aprc and also ARC endurance rules for rally qld, once you go over late time (30 min for whole event) or miss a stage and rejoin, you get no event or champ points at all.... got to be there sun arvo, and do every stage to get the reward

beauitful 24 deg, warm sunny winters day.
im told a good crowd at 8am at speactator park, then big one this arvo.

Your home ARC & no after party report Your slipping Reg....

what goes in the party stays in the party !.

but i can tell you what happened on the walk home !.

one of our crew fell over and dislocated his shoulder ( he may have been slightly intoxicated ). so i get am ambo at 2.30am, send the other crew on the walk home, blowing their vu vu zella all the way, go to nambour hospital in the ambo, help give him a morphine shot on th way, they x ray him (joint and ligaments damaged) while i have to ring his missus at 3.30 am and explain he is in hospital (she hits the roof) then a $100 cab ride back to the accom to get in at 6am, then wake up Steve so he can drive back to work and open the businees monday morning.

stonker of a party, Qld always is.
nathan (hurt crew) won the drinks competition ... we all had shots of QF, jam dougnut, cowboys, white sambuka and black ... but he trumped us with the shot of morphine !
only 355 days to go till next year !... cant wait.

was a great rally. been 5 years since competiting in qld, bit its all still the same. very tough and a huge challenge in a 2WD! wow million LA is really hard work compared to driving it in an evo etc..a HUGE shame to have a dnf in the datto after winning classics in sa, butis the first ever dnf since owning it for 10 years and doing over 37 rallies in the thing, so spose i cant complain. just thankful the tailshaft/gearbox broke on a 2nd gear hairpin not on the 190km/h stretch of road we were on minutes earlier. Massive thanks to murray coote for fabriactating me a tailshaft (WORLDS FIRST MCA TAILSHAFT!) on the saturday night and getting us back in the rally on sunday. otherwise we were going home on a trailer. We had a 150km/h speed limit on the sunday as thats the best we could balance the tailshaft to but i just had a crack in the tight and twisty bits and copped the loss on the fast stuff..

massive thanks to MCA suspension, Rallyschool.com.au and racecam.com.au for getting us to the rally and the continued support at the event etc.
afterparty was good, plenty of out of control people and lots of shots!

maybe rally melb? hmm need to raise an ARC entry fee! yikes!
