I am just awaiting the results from GH and I will publish these asap through the clubs website or in a post.
Glad all crews and officials enjoyed themselves. Bob and John, good to see a couple of good results.
Some good photos Chris from Speccy points. Might use these photos on the clubs website if ok.
Aiden, I do have a series of photos but with the car not on the road. PM me your email address if interested.
Brendan, suggestion noted. But hey, a tight corner makes for more fun. Don't forget, coming into it was fairly fast bit of road, one way to get the average speed down a fraction.
Regards
Matt

Absolutley fantastic effort from Mick Patton & Stuart Collison (car 33).
This was essentially their first rally, in a brand new car that which is the first they have ever built, and was only finished not too long before the event.
10th outright in pretty competetive field is a brilliant drive, cant wait to see how they go with a bit more car tuning and bum-in-seat time behind them!

taking out bunting at a spectator point in a humpries event? no wonder he wants to remain nameless.

So where were you in relation to this incident Matt? Do you understand why it was put there in the first place Matt? Do you know how long it took to set the speccy point up Matt? Do you know where the spectators were standing, Matt.
That is right Matt, you were no near the intersection of Wang Wauk and Horses Creek Roads on Sunday. Yes, a competitor might of cut the corner a bit to fine. The spectator point was setup (the checker and Graham had lengthy discussions on this) to ensure safety of spectators was paramount. I was involved with the setup as well Rus & Butch.
Maybe Matt, you should stop this BS and understand any form of facts before putting words into this forum.
Of all the people who entered the event Matt, every person I have spoken to enjoyed the event. The only person who did not, was someone in another state who loves to put generalisations on things that happen.
Before I go Matt, if you want to bring up what happened to a certain competitor at an event 10 years ago run by Graham, this shows that you live in the past. Last time I checked the calendar, it read the 26th August 2010, we all have moved on since then.
Mods, lets get back and reading event reports.
Regards
Matt

Car 3 Roberts/South
Recce went well & the only drama was a flat tyre, something we would experience a couple of more times before the weekend was over.
With the first 2 stages complete, at service the crew set about rectifying a brake issue that was slightly hampering our efforts.
SS3 all going well until we hit a rock & punctured the LHF tyre. We drove for approx 9.5km's out of the stage. After changing the flat we arrived 4 mins late to ss4 gaining us a 20sec penalties.
SS4 good stage for us setting 2nd fastest 4secs behind Quinn.
SS5 another good stage, the car a little taily in the faster sections but we were still mixing it with the leaders.
SS6 Having a good run, feeling comfortable & then another flat, this time the RHR. Drove about 4km's on the flat out of the stage.
SS7 Our niggling problems continued with the intercom battery failing. Sue did a great job to stay on the notes & to limit it to only a small time loss
At service a couple of new front tyres & off to the last 3 stages.
Finally we got to put together a few stages in a row without any problems which allowed Sue & I to work on the rythem in the car. After Steve Forsberg had porblems & dropped time in SS8 & having no chance of catching John & JO we just tried to consolidate our 3rd & gain more valuable points in the championship.
Looking forward to Bathurst.
Cheers Peter Roberts.

LOL. I remember in 2008, both he and Judyth wanted to charge/fine/disqualify every competitor that wasnt servicing in the service park. They were servicing adjacent to the service park but this still wasnt acceptable.
However, please let me remind you all that in this year, the service park had to be moved because the showground was flooded, and the new service park wasn't big enough to accomodate for everyone anyway.
I didnt realise Myall Stages was apart of the WRC...

The clipping of the bunting is a non-event. It was merely a 'roped' off section to make the speccy point more entertaining, slowing a quite fast intersection.
I'm just glad it wasn't Longy who got the bunting. He stopped, got out, and put bunting back up after an overshoot at Orange- whilst leading the rally!
Better man than me...
