Finally, an event without dust!

Competitors for HDCC's Khanacross at Hampton yesterday were not met with dust but snow.: Thankfully it wasn't very heavy and made most of the roads more grippy.

Unfortunately two competitors who were doing their OLT's in order to run the Dell Rally in three weeks, will be met with somewhat expensive repair bills and a race against time to get to the rally

(For those of you who don't know, Hampton is located near Jenolan Caves)

Got it in one!

I don't really know what happened - her second last run in a tight part of the track and she ended up on her side. She said she was fine (apart from damaged pride) but we did notice some bruising on her neck at the pub afterwards. Hopefully she is feeling OK today.

The other incident was a guy (never seen him or his car before, and didn't find out his name) who probably should have stayed home in bed. Apparently his tow car broke down on the way and he arrived an hour late. The powers that be did the right thing and let him enter late and on the first run came into a corner too hot and too early and climbed a small bank and rolled. Needless to say he didn't pass his OLT.

Just what we needed when the place was crawling with CAMS officials yesterday because we were upgrading 6 or 7 of our officials to the relevant level 3 disciplines.

Rebecca and Kari said they would still be at the Dell, so here's hoping.

That was me.

Yes a little dented car, and pride. However damage was limited to 2 gaurds and a windscreen, car will be ready by the end of the week.

very slight down hill into 90 Rh, just a bit keen, turned in a little early and into a small mound and over.

All driver error, unfortunate damage but that is motorsport. Car was stripped Sunday night, new panels fitted, windscreen in Tuesday, headlight surround to be sourced and and a fair amount of sanding.

yeah.... the 2 19yr old P Platers were the only 2 OLT'ers not to roll..... and they were going faster!!! ..... especially Michael Long (1200) who was on fire setting similar times to Kari Dirickx and fighting for the outright win.

Bec was very unlucky..... she was doing a top job until the car stepped out under brakes and took a bite at the inside of the corner and rolled her lightly.

Global was on a mission.... the Charade was looking and sounding the goods (very impressive bit of gear) until the last corner of the stage.... where it bounced off it's roof and back onto it's wheels.

Anyway.... Longy, Gav and Bec will all be at the Dell ..... and judging by Global's attitude after the roll- he's make it as well.

The car was stripped Sunday night, and in the panel shop today. Not a big repair, 2 new guards and a pull in the roof, new windscreen and she is back on track. Will be finished Sunday.

Most everything else tapped out with the use of small and many large hammers.
