TRUSSME National Capital Rally - Results

Results are now available for the TRUSSME National Capital Rally and the TRUSSME National Capital Rally - Classic Rallycar Challenge. It was a very hot and dry day which played havoc with competitors both physically and mechanically, causing an unusually large number of retirements.

Congratulations must go to John Stilling and Frank Brookhouse (Evo 6), who won the event, and secured another ACT Series Gold Cup at the same time. Michael Boaden and Helen Cheers (Evo 7) came home second, with Darren Blair and Jim Gleeson (WRX) taking out third place.

In the Classics, Bede Austin and Aaron Tams (Datsun 180B) took a well-deserved victory from legends Ross Dunkerton and Alan Stean (Datsun 240Z), with only 19 seconds seperating them at the end of the day. Third place went to an elated Ian Wilson and Byron Langslow (Toyota Celica).
