Round 3 NSW Clubman Series
Round 2 Northern NSW Rally Series
In keeping with the spirit of classic clubman style events, the 2008 PCYC Night Stages Rally, hosted by the Pacific Rally Club, will be run entirely at night. The later start in the day will allow most competitors to comfortably travel to the event without having to accommodate themselves overnight on the Friday.
The rally will be based at the Port Panthers Sports Club at Hibbard & will host documentation, scrutineering, the start and also the finish. Car 1 will be away at 3.40pm for a leisurely liaison before tackling the first of 5 stages, the longest at 36km and the shortest at 18km. The event will cover a total of 134km of stages, with 2 service breaks at the Kendall Showground, with the first car due at the finish venue at 9.45pm.
The rally will form Round 3 of the NSW Clubman Rally Series & also Round 2 of the Northern NSW Rally Series. This year the event will have a class for Classics as per NNSW Rally Series Regulations.
Supplementary Regulations will be available by the end of May and will be on the club’s website at pacificrallyclub.com or by calling Richard Montford on 0428 394 610 for a posted set. Entry fee will be $355 which includes NSW Clubman Series registration for eligible competitors.
