Wayne Bell Photos
Hi all.
My name is Bruce McDougall and I'v been involved in rally for about 10 years in Coffs Harbour. I helped Bob Helpin (in a small way) with the Coffs ARC and for the last 6 years have been the C of C for for our club rally.
For the 2007 calender my parten and I have bought one of Wayne Bell's Hyundia Lantra's. It looks like a 1994 how ever the log book is dated 1991.
At the moment it is red and white and looks a little ruff. I'd like paint it in it's factory colours again. If you know any one who has photo's of a Bell'y Hyundia or may be Wayns phone number I'd like to here from you.
Chaers
McBruce.

Yay, another Hyundai to the crowds..
Being a 94 or 91, sounds like it's a J1 then (the mitsubishi engine - 4G somethin somethin). There's a guy here in melbourne that used to do work on the cars, he might be of help. Will get his number for you (just gotta remember where i put it..). Is this a car from WA, or did you find it on the east coast?
Cheers, Jimbo

Bruce, RD Mullet might have a few photos of Wayne's Hyundai.
He does drop in on this site from time to time.
You might want to send him a PM.

Sorry, dont have their contact details but I'm sure someone on here does.

Steve Thompson from penrith brake and clutch will know how to contact him.
I heard he had a place down Captain Flat way. Steve and Rita might also have photo's and the name of the guy who originally brought Hyundai to rallying. He is a Sydney person but his name escapes me.
Cheers

I bumped into Wayne Bell at a cat show a few years ago, he is breeding Burmese and Bengal Cats at Brandy Hill near Newcastle..
Home page is http://www.ricwaycattery.com.au/
I'm sure he would be able to help you out with paint schemes, photos, etc.
Cheers,
Mark.

You could also try ARN.
I think they had the Hyundai as a centre-spread one issue. It was just before - or after - he came and had a play at Rally of Canberra (Can't remember which year that was... sorry)
