UVP Process
Hi everyone
I'll swapping the rego over on the WRCorona to NSW soon and wanted to know the process for a UVP. Do you still need plates on the car, if so, can I use my WRC 10B personalised plates.

No UVP = no plates, no pinkslip for rally cars download forms from RTA and take them and you civil D/L to the RTA you don't need entry form, cams licence or any of the other crap that has been sprouted

No why would there be an issue with Constable Plod you have a duly receipted rego label on the car and a 2 pieces of paper issued by the RTA one is the permit and one is the CTP invoice with a set of dates and a trip, the UVP forms specificaly mentions Rally Vehicles when you apply it is all 100% above board

Didnt suggest it wasnt, but lots of police, particularly non traffic ones, would find it a little strange, hence the question.

Can someone confirm if it is OK to use UVP's for any CAMS event? i.e. use it to drive the car to a motorkhana/khanacross?

You can't use the plates on your car. There can be no rego expired or otherwise on the car for UVP.
Cheers,
Adam.

The one question I've wondered for a while is, can you still get 3rd Party Property or Comprehensive Insurance if you drive the vehicle to & from an event when it doesn't have plates anymore.
Anyone know?
