Bad Karma!!
Seriously bad karma to the skirt-wearing tosser who would have hit me at a round about had I not gone off the road.
Driving along Isabella Drive from the Monaro Highway towards Tuggeranong Town Centre yesterday afternoon, and as I go through the roundabout next to the Chisholm shops, some goat-****er driving a goldish coloured VT Commodore with grey coloured mag wheels either didn’t look, can’t see, or is just plain arrogant, used both lanes of the roundabout on the exit. I had two choices, try to avoid an accident and go up a gutter at about 60km, or get hit by him. So I avoided the accident but in doing so stuffed the suspension on my car hitting a gutter at speed. After a really quick look, the left strut punched through the rare off-set factory strut top (which means the strut bottomed out and has therefore probably bent the bilstein shock and maybe bent the stub axle and stuffed the wheel bearings), my nice new tyre is damaged, may have bent the radius rod and tie rod (I haven’t taken it all apart yet) and that is just the left front!! Oh and the CD player no longer plays CDs (it is not just a bad earth or power because the radio works fine). And of course the useless weed kept on going as if nothing had happened.
Not Happy!!!!
Bloody Holden drivers!!

Sounds like a pretty big hit, Bede. You've done well to break the CD player as well! I've got a spare one if you want it...

Commodore drivers have a very different Gene to the rest of humanity. Something to do with trying to make up for on the road what they are lacking elsewhere

TTCL's best ever post.
I swear that Commodore utes have taken over from 4WD Hiuxes as the d#$kheads' vehicle of choice, with Commodore sedans (in either 2 or 4 door format) as a popular second choice.
I'm sure there are owners of Commode utes who aren't f#$kwits, but they must make up a tiny portion of the Commodore ute owning population.
And driving the Micra or Volvo is the worst... You'll be doing 110kph in a 100 zone, and then some dips$%t in a Commodore will be right up your asre... They blaze past you and then slow down to 95kph....
I'm thinking of making up a sticker for the Micra that reads: "Inadequate? Then overtake this car for no reason".
But I'm sure most of them won't get it.

Seem to be a race thru the round-abouts every time you get there.
One day I will test out the FIA kit I have bought for Rally and see how much safer it makes me.....
There's an image linded up at the traffic lights FIA undies, helmut and all
Seriously, somting has to happen to address these guys attitude to owning a deadly weapon and not having the skill to handle it.

In the world of sales, we call them 'common whores'.
Let the karma get them mate.........who knows the outcome of an accident should you have taken the other choice.

Bummer.
Not hat I've had to exercise it, I've figured if you get a choice when being forced off the road, cut it close enough to exchange paint.

Colin McRae- For any successful driver, it's confidence. Self-belief. But that's in anything in life. If you're confident in what you're doing and you really believe in yourself that you can pull it off, then generally you will.

That's because the car does it for them by default (like most other actual driving functions except steering). Most can't be bothered finding the function that switches them off.
Lights are switched on/off with the ignition.

And yet, yesterday in the rain I couldn't help but notice the number of cars driving around without lights on. Once again Commodores (and 4WDs) seemed be be the main culprits....

A bit different in rural South Oz.
Used to be the Holden HQ - WB ute owners demolishing fences, scaring sheep and removing extraneous hopping wildlife from the roads.
Now it's AU and later Ford ute owners (with the big six).
They might have changed brands but sure haven't changed driving talent!
