Pictures update 2/6/08
spent the morning pulling out the motor / g/box and rear end and removing all unneccessary items from under the car...............
** there was a piece of fibreglass or something like it moulded into the bottom of the spare wheel well to make it flat.( From Factory ) upon removal it weighed 5 Kilo's.. awesome........ 
she is getting lighter

I am following the build with interest, I am not sure if you have seen these pics or similar. These pics from Jake Larsen on s14.net show strenghtening to the e30 arms.

I had something similar in mind . I have been looking at a lot of pics from the UK. they have a BMW E30 series over there like our Hyundai.........so I have been getting a lot of ideas........

Currently all stripped bar the heater / fan and F/R windscreens...so she is pretty empty now.......
From the boot I removed :
1 big battery 8 kg
1 jack 2 kg
Carpet and foam 3 kg
BMW tool box and tools 1 kg
Black Sound proofing 16 kg
Hard resin spare wheel base 5kg
1 spare alloy wheel 8kg
2 speakers 1 kg
totall = 44 kg 's minimum....
There was another 11 kg's of sound proofing in the cabin tooooo....
So soon I'll be into the cage process........any ideas ? anyone ?
