ONE HD- Motorsport Reminder
We need a thread where lazy pricks like me can come to remind themselves that there is a rally coming up on HD.
So if anyone sees that rallying is on the next couple of days- Pop a reminder up for the rest of us.
Maybe sticky???
BTW, Any one watch the finish to Daytona yesterday???

ONE HD was great last night! Isle of Man TT and NZ's Sliver Fern Rally 
I think the Silver Fern was probably the best produced rally program I have seen. Great footage, heaps of in-car, even a time-lapse rx7 engine swap!
TT was @#$%^& nuts as usual.

Silver fern was excellent - but I think you will find the sky has fallen in NZ. Drivers not wearing gloves, Cars running "different" engines, No HANS devices, Stages of 95 kms in length. I just don't see how this could possibly be allowed.
I would so very much like to have a go at that event. And wasn't it great to see a McRae having a big go.
Maybe young Tony Quinn may be a bit more humble in future. I hope he decides to stick with gravel and give it a decent shot, he clearly has some talent and it would be good to see his company in gravel rallying, but I would be lying if I didn't admit to a wry smile.
As for the isle of Man, new lap record in practice of 131MPH - that is stupid fast. Those guys have as much talent as they have courage.

I so want to do this event. I'll need to work out how to carry enough fuel for 95kms though. I also need to work out where my old K went though - the one that went 10 years without a mechanical DNF - not this one that has dnf'd 4 from the last 5 starts.

Yep Ray - that 131 was the AVERAGE speed for the lap - I mean that is over 200kph AVERAGE

One SD is now on Foxtel at the tail end of the Sports Channels at Ch531.
It usually has the same content as OneHD but on Standard Definintion only.
