Alpine Thanks
This is the thanks for all of the help these family and mates gave me at the 2007 Alpine
Michelle n Wes for putting up with all of the preps while Michelle was at her worst stage of sickness, Wes for being so good for Granny n Wa Wa
Mum n Dad for taking up Michelle's job of spectator marshal on the first day after Michelle could not make it. Also for doing it and looking after Wes at the same time.
Matty For all of the tyres he changed before the event and the great nav job, top work dude.
Nel helping out where she could and for taking up Michelles role as food tech (stuffing food down my mouth while servicing)
Ryan for all of the service gear and car you supplyed, distance you travelled also all of the help you gave to get us to the finish in the place we did. Ryan = very funny man.
Russ For all of the help and service work, the huge trip down (somewhat extended) and for keeping a smile on everyones face, the receptions at the service points were great.
Trav For all of the help and service work, tec advice, recovering the other half of the service crew, who you had never even met before! Also all of the constant laughs.
The 3 guys and Nel before the event had never met each other but as a service crew and bunch of guys they worked like a refined well oiled team and bunch of mates. For this I must say a huge thanks as it made my job so much easier as there was less for me to worry about and I always had confidence in the car.
ACT Massive For the extra help in getting the stuffed clutch out and new one in. It was a top effot and showed the true spirit of rallying thanks guys.
Bob Bridge For building and awesome engine and then all of the after sales service, like the 14 or so house calls to see how it was all going. To get it finished he put in some huge hours even on his days off, and had the engine at full after 3 runs on the Dyno. Bob you built a top engine mate, very happy
Dan Vrubel from Apex decals who made all of the STEW///ART stickers for us as a sponsor deal, Yay my first sponsor a top quality product.
Car 28 for the clutch pressure plate you sold us when no one else would. Thanks a million as it sprung the datto back to life making the rally alot more enjoyable. The money is in the way guys.
Mat Amos For the use of your Triton, Also Pete Ewing for the offer of the Patrol, thanks guys.

Same as what the other boys have said, and just for the opportunity for a dam fun weekend in the bush with great people, we spoke about doing something like this for a while now, 7 years later, we done it! hehe

Graham Thompson for standing at the gate all day at the bottom of 7 mile hill, hot conditions, on his own with no one to talk to , and wondering whose car we were driving!
He could have been at home on the couch, earning some cash in the cab, but chose to help everyone out and stand there all day.
Top effort and unrewarded, with nothing expected.Gt the quit achiever!
Gold
Cheers to GT

Thanks Ray Baker
Ray's a champion.
He is in Sydney friday night for a work function. Gets up saturday morning and drives to Kowen forest, where he does the paperwork and secretary stuff for the RdF. Then jumps in the Mighty Camira (which Marty had generously lent me) and co-drives all day and teaches me how to do handbrake turns and left foot braking and made me go into 4th gear .
Once we finish competing Ray then goes and helps with the scoring, prints up copies of results and comes to the Waldorf for the after event fun.
I hope you slept well saturday night Ray.
Top effort all day.
