Nadine at AASA.
Faxed my AASA Nav license application Monday and spoke to Nadine. After explaining that I needed the license this weekend and thinking it would be a drama, she replied 'Yeah, no worries we'll express post it so it will get to you in time'.
Rang her back yesterday to make sure it had been mailed and she replied 'Oh it's Anna isn't it? Yep license was express posted yesterday'. Arrived in the mail today!
Brilliant - Cost me $60 and it fits in my wallet!! No additional fees to pay for fast service there! No license, to licensed competitor in 4 days

I'll second that. I contacted Nadine yesterday to organise my licence and within a matter of minutes my confirmation of AASA licence had arrived at work via fax, in case the actual licence did not arrive in time.
Top work Aussie

Speaking of service, Heather from AASA called me this morning, jsut to let me know that another competitor had called the AASA office to sort a licence out (nothing like last minute!) and that should there be a problem with a faxed confirmation he's a definite licence holder.
What's the fee for express processing of CAMS licences? Isn't it more than the cost of an AASA licence?

Big it up for Luke in pulling out the right rear strut of the Soob and redrilling the mounts for the sumpguard while I was busy fixing fences.

to the following HRA people for assistance over the last month or so while I was busy fighting fires ...
JOE WILSON (Heritage Motorsport) for suspension advice for the Galant, chasing up some "no longer listed" strut inserts & shocks, installing the inserts, fitting Terratrip probe mounts, and doing some reinforcement work on the strut tubes even though I didn't think to ask for it ... and all at a great price.
GEOFF HALE for picking up struts in Hampton, delivering to Joe in Olinda, then delivering the finished product (along with various other spare parts + my new helmet) to John Carney's place in NarNarGoon ... lots of kilometres in that lot.
JOHN CARNEY for assisting with installation of new struts (to be honest, he installed them while I watched - it was much more efficient that way !)
There are multiple beers owed

SKDAC for all the free food on the morning after Minidulla.
I distributed a shed load of bread rolls to both sets of parents on the drive home and I'm still defrosting one each day for lunch.

Pete Ewing for all the help in getting me back in the event after I DNF'd at AMSAG Jenolan. He was there to service for Dave Roberts but spent heaps of time helping work on the Lancer after I lunched a front wheel bearing and welded it onto the stub axle driving back to service. I managed to do SS1, SS2, SS7, SS8 and SS9 when I really could have put it on the trailer after SS2. Thanks heaps mate......
Numerous other thankyou mentions to come in event report but Pete was a standout Top Aussie.

MASSIVE thumbs up to the young lad at Suzuki Mandurah.
Originally we were told it would be a 5 week wait for a radiator but he pulled some strings and we ordered one at 8.45am Wednesday and Ethan is now on his way to pick it up! Thank god for that. We weren't sure how long the bolt and steel putty would hold up!!!
