Shabby. Lending us a rally car, preparing it, towing, it servicing it and really really enjoying the experieince.
Jeff Eastman. For the driveshaft
And Lizzy. For the only piece of driving advise that was really important. (and I got lots) She told me to keep the wheels pointing straight ahead in the start control.

It has been a fairly eventful 24 hours. I had completely messed up my gearbox build, and I was looking for ways of fixing it before Bega.
Big thanks to my dad (I owe you two gear pullers), Ian Jeffery, Kirrilee Gentleman, Matt Searle, the guys at Tuggeranong Transmissions, Auto Torque Transmissions, Southern Differentials, Axle Motorcycles, Mark at Neal Bates Automotive, Ian at Revells, JW at Reliance Automotive, and Tim Batten for your assistance, time, direction, and advice.
Special thanks to Fro, who came over tonight, told me to HTFU, and made it all better.
Super-special thanks to my wife, Leyanne, and family for letting me spend so much time in the garage.
Who knows, we may make Bega after all...

Good Khama to Rob Devenish.
I rang him today chasing up a drive shaft from a Z. He went way out of his way to help me find a solution.
what a nice bloke.

Hmmm you're very good at finding driveshafts LEGEND, do you think you are bit hard on the equipment, why do they keep breaking?

hard on equipment? I handed yours back ready to rally again. good as gold.
now i grant you some may call driving your car sideways through a cattle grid pole 'hard on equipment' but not me. I'd call that desperately unlucky.

Good Khama
Our friends at CAM'S member services in Melbourne. They have sorted out an International Entrants licence for me in less than 48 hours, and then rang me to make sure all is good. Very efficient and incredibly helpful.
Many Thanks.

Tortfeaser, for the loan of the throttle bodies. And the Tortfeaser family, for feeding and entertaining The Boy.
