Yup - plan is for this year, Ric. It's in the crash shop. Providing I got cash and it once again resembles an Evo, we'll be there. Fingers crossed big time!
Don't worry about the Evo, Hev. I can't drive that fast anyway!!!

Yup, nothing like some elbow grease! Isn't that what you needed to do with the Laser after Giro?

nah - mine was the other end!
It's currently in getting a facelift/transplant - all of the bodywork forward of the firewall is being replaced off a donor laser - it should be quite a bit lighter without all of the bog in the front that the previous owner put in it - and the wheelbase will actually be the same on both sides - it was previously 2cm shorter on the nav's side which made wheel alignments fun.

Dave Trees for sharing the Volvo love in a particularly generous and helpful way, and for giving me khanacross tyres.

Errrr ... you can fix that? Looks like a reshell to me.
Now - I send Good Karma to Spac for running around like a blue ar5e fly at NatCap helping out Matt and Anna, Carl and Matty, and me and Adam with great spirits and no complaints in the heat with crappy tools ... etc.
Thanks mate!

Spac and Pete Ewing, for spending drinking time helping Jon Parker and I recover the Evo from East West at Nat Cap. They were going to recover Stewy , but assisted us as we had limited help.
Thanks guys.

No probs mate - it's 4 less I have to take to the tip ....
Those tyres actually came attached to the late lamented "Hagar the Horrible" when I first bought it!
And thanks for the bottle of red
