ACT International Rally History

Rallly fans, especially old ones!!
Nostalgia has lead me to look into our colourful international event history, especially with recent clouds gathering over ROC's future. I'm sure it'll survive, but a few weeks ago on ABC 2's Late Night Legends, up came the '79 Castrol- what a blast of memories. Then there's the tarmac stages later, in Wanniassa!!
I'd like to know if anyone's done a historical article or kept records of these events?
I'd like to hear from anyone who helped organised the Castrols and Don Capasco, I should be able to contact people I knew from that era too, and compile a decent article.
Whatdya think?

Mike Neil

My Dad (Ron) is away at the moment, however if you want to get in touch with him send me a PM and I will give you his details.

He has a lot of stuff at home covering events from the 60's, unfortunately he won't be in Canberra to go through it till June(ish)
