HI everyone,
I'm Kat, and I can quite honestly say that I did not know that this type of inteligent motorsport existed until I fell madly in love with a rally boy from abroad. He was rather huge in his sport OS, and is treated like somewhat of a God by his native worshippers, something that a woman in 2008 in Australia finds hard to understand given that we aren't into being dragged around by our hair, living in caves and cooking every night on an open fire. I was a little overwhelmed by how prehistoric the whole thing is over there, but that being said, it lasted some months, only to end with me not only falling in love with him, but his country as well, and of course, rallying.
I'm a bit of a boy with cars, always loved them, and a bit of a sucker for a huge four wheel drive, with a roaring heart. I myself have a Jeep- yes, one letter more than a BMW (blondes drive them because that's all they can spell, and that's all that women appear to drive from where rally boy comes from!!- and yes, they are all blonde- one with a number plate that said JENIUS- duhhhhh!!!

),

which I guess makes me a little more intelligent, thank God!.
I love to drive fast and hard, I love dirt, and have blown the turbo on my baby Jeep twice now. I guess you could also say that now that I don't have cave man rally boy to take the P*ss out of and play with, I'm a little frustrated and bored, so I thought I would have a crack at it, considering he told me that " I could never be involved, I wouldn't know what I was getting into!!" What a crock.

I hear the women in the sport hear are kicking AR##SE!!
Anyway, I've done level 1 training, and intend to get into a car when I can gather more info and feel confident that I can compete successfully and relax and enjoy my investment. I'm a planner, and I like to learn, so the more research I do and the more answers I have, the easier my debut into this exciting world will be!! This has been the most informative site I've found- it's excellent!
I agree with some other people who has posted threads that the V8 drivers probably have the worst reputation for not having much between their ears. I DO see rallying as a gentlemans sport, and a smart one at that........excellent driving skills, strategic planning, and a little sprinkle of sheer madness................I think I'll fit in nicely.
My only issue is that I don't have a huge group of friends, so my support would be minimal. I'll have to go door to door knocking to get my crew! Hopefully i can make some friends for life through this affair with rallying!

I'd just have to be brave, front up to a rally one day and let my skills speak for themselves..............I'll keep going to drive school, and keep feeling my way through the maze of questions that I have.
I like the rally crowd, down to earth, realistic and fun. And passionate, most definitely me!
I'm grateful that I have beenintroduced to this amazing sport, and hope that I can make a valuable contribution to it along the way...
Anyway, here I am, anyone who could give me advice, and would be prepared to mentor in any way, make yourself known.
Even better if you're good looking and around oh.........38! Only kiddin'.
Anyway, off to save lives and bring justice to he world......Superwoman!!
