ummm... Hello? (not very original hey?)
Hello,
My name is Nick (which is probably pretty obvious from my username...), and while I've lurked about here from time to time, and been out and watched a few rallies here and there, I'm finally earning enough money to think about burning it all going rallying. My dad was a member of the BMSC once upon a time and used to rally Renault 8's and 10's (Phil Herrald if anyone remembers him...).
I'd like to get out and do some khanas to begin with, so if anyone could fill me in on exactly what I need to do, re: license, club membership, car requirements, when is the next one around canberra... etc etc, that would be very much appreciated 
Oh and if anyone has any partly worn dirt tyres on 14" datto rims they're looking to sell for modest cashola, I'm keen... and finally, I'd be happy to do a road closure or something at the BRM, if any are needed.

Why not sign up to help out at a control for BRM so you can meet the crews and fellow officials?

Hiya Nick,
Welcome aboard! Can you please send me a PM if you're interested in helping out for BRM. I've got a few good road closures left.
Also, the next khanas in the Tri-Series are being run 23 August and 5 October, at Cottage Five (just south of Cotter).

Congratulations on the $350k per year job then  
I've got a pair of old Starion (I think?) rims with fairly well worn rally tyres on them, holding up the back end of a S3 RX7 at the moment. Was going to get rid of them once I've grabbed the necessary stuff out of the RX7 and flogged off what I don't need.
Only problem, I live on the Gold Coast. Might be abit of a drive for you.
