Hi all

Simon's the name.

Well, i've been a motorsport, and especially rally nut for as long as i can remember, and have been involved with preparing and servicing cars in the SARC and ARC for about the past ten years, as well as having the occasional rally drive myself for a bit of fun (LA lancer, and previously mazda RX7). When not doing that, i try to get out to various motorsport events and do some amatuer photography.

Work-wise, i am a motor mechanic and mechanical engineer by trade, and work for a couple of shops at the moment, doing a mix of tarmac rallycar preperation, fabrication and general mechanical work.

Welcome buddy. Reading this forum will recharge your sanity batteries and be a lot closer to reality than talking to that Sam Brand guy...

Didn't know about your LA Lancer (presumed you still had the RX7) or your photography - more hidden talents.
