Hello humans and other bi-peds,
My name is Bud Gerigar and whilst it is a while since I first joined this forum, I don't get to access the internet from my cage so it isn't that often that I can fly by for a visit (by sneaking access from my owners computer).
There probably isn't much to tell about my story that would interest you all as I have never actually been to a rally (in fact what is a rally?) although when I looked it up on the internet I did come up with this that looks like you guys like to hang around the same places as my pigeon cousins do:
I suppose that is what piqued my interest, as I like to sit around in nothing more than my feathers and thus finding a group of humans (or at least from what I have read, most of you I think are) that seem to want to share the freedom that I like (and crave from here in my cage), sounded pretty good to me, although from the looks of what you lot like to do there must sometimes be some fairly unsightly and uncomfortable chaffing that occurs... which is why I suppose I sometimes read of you doing it sideways and other strange things.
Must admit though that talk of detonation and other unusual topics as I have read here recently do confuse me a little.. and I can only think that this somehow relates to a bodily function as I know that even we budgies occasionally suffer from problems that mean some pretty explosive poo's happen from time to time.
I have also read here that sometimes the mod's change things they don't like. I hope my intro post and all in it is OK to stay, as the thought of a bunch of people who must be superior simply because they have motors on their bikes and wear old fashioned clothes deciding what you nudies should and shouldn't say seems a little strange to me.
Though I suppose as we have in avian life, there are different kinds of birds and birds with different plumage that seem to rule the roost (
apologies for the awful pun.. but even us budgies have a sense of humour you know) .. so I guess that for you nudie bike riders it is simply like the law of the jungle that those with a bit more power and better feathers get to keep you in your place?
Anyway, I had better go as it isn't that often my owner lets me out to fly around the house, and I think he might be waking up from his nap soon, and if I get caught tapping my beak at his computer again it could turn a little ugly.
Cheep cheep from me.. and enjoy those bike rides and other activities you go on.
Bud
That's me by the way ... doing pretty much what I always do.
