GVR40 has some part of a clue
Just starting out

Hi everyone.

I'm just starting out in the world of all things rally, motokhana, khanacross, dirt sprints etc. I have nearly finished my vr4 galant which i have been building for the last few years (4 on and off). I'm based up on the Gold Coast in sunny QLD.

I look forward to my stay here.

Cheers
Craig

Welcome aboard, Mate. There are a few of us here on the GC, although most of the events are run up the sunshine coast.

The GCTMC run a few events around the Gold Coast each year, and of course border ranges rally just across the border.

I'm in between cars at present, so don't know when I'll be competing next. Might have to take the road car to a few khanas, autocrosses etc.

Craig and Peter, put the 6th of March down in your diaries for a motorkhana. I don't know where or on what surface just yet though.

No, I'm actually a member of NDSCC, as they were the first people I got to know when I moved back to QLD. From what I hear, GCTMC is a good club too, and I've been along to a few of their events (not as a competitor)

6th March? Might be a squeeze. I'm supposed to be helping out with preparations for my wife's 40th b/day bash. I offered to pay for catering, but she's too much of a foodie and won't tolerate mass produced crap.

Then there's also the fact I don't have a car ATM (hence my new avatar). Although I'm thinking of taking the Rex out for a blat around the Wilowbank autocross track later this year.
