George Kahler's daughter
Hi,
As my title says, Im George Kahler's daughter. I read on someones thread yesterday that they were re doing my dad's old rally car. My father passed away over 10 years ago now and I guess I wanted to get in touch with this guy who is doing up his ex rally car so I could see photos once its done to show my kids what their grandfather drove.
I miss my dad but his legend lives on.

Welcome bek,the revvin reverend was surely a great character, which one of his cars are you referring to,he was always a Mazda man from memory and I remember I was spectating with a mate at Sunny Corner one year and we lent George the tailshaft out of the TX3 Lazer road car we were driving which allowed him to finish the event.
I seem to remember Your father in RX2's and 323's of various models and events ranging up to the Southern Cross mainly in NSW and QLD.
Some of his old competitors are here as well and could possibly tell some more stories.
All the best coxy.

Hi Bek, i navigated for your dad in the 1979 Parkes Festival Rally, that was a few years ago, i have spoken to yr brother Peter on this site and yr dad was true gentlman. I can remember going to New Tribes Mission at Rooty Hill here in sydney for dinner at yr parents place, today the place is full of houses.
