Hello from NW USA - Oregon to be exact

Hi......... "oldeskewltoy"(Dan) here, some of you may know me from other forums.... and then my ego may be too large

I've been playing with Toyotas, mostly rwd Corollas, for about 17 years now. I've owned a pair of AE86 coupes - one 1986, one 1987. I currently own a custom AE71 coupe(Surreptitious), and an AE95 sedan(Grunt)

Being completely honest... neither of the above cars is a rally car... the main reason I've joined your little forum is to learn more about AE80 rally cars, and the members experiences with these cars... I'll post another thread with the details so this can stay an introduction.

Anyway, back to introduction details... I'm an olde dude(50), and I've enjoyed many cars in my life so far - some of the standouts... 2 Shelby Mustangs(a 66 and a 67), a 68 Pontiac GTO, a 70 Mach 1 Mustang fitted with the 428SCJ engine. Some of the standout imports... a 69 TVR Vixen S2, the Toyotas, a 1971 Alfa GTV, and a couple of Volvo 1800s.

Have you been to toymods.

Plenty of info there, but whilst you are here, enjoy our whacky sense of humour.

Some people here make JVH look quite tame and unopinionated (spell check doesn't like that word , but I'm running with it ).

If any frequent the US forums you'll know what I mean
