Mikey's Toyota Corolla KE25 Rally Car For Sale
As the title suggests I am (reluctantly) putting Q'Rolla up for sale.
A proven competitive car in gifted hands (not necessarily mine!), Q'Rolla did us proud with some good finishes as Novices in 2005/2006/2007, finally taking the Novice round win at NatCap '06 after having decent pace all year.
Easy, fun and forgiving RWD P2 car to drive, ideal for another novice to break into the sport.
The car is only being sold due to new car build and unfortunately, even though I have contemplated classic events, I just can't justify or afford to keep two cars at this point in time.
Some basic specs are as follows...
1973 KE25 Corolla 2 Door Coupe
2T-GEU Engine 1588cc (freshened 2006, has done 3 events since)
Yamaha Twin Cam Head
Twin Solex Carburetters (with new trumpets and socks)
Electronic Ignition
T50 Celica Gearbox
5.1 LSD
Heavy Duty Clutch
Extractors
Good CAMS Logbooked Cage
ACT Rally Registered (due to expire next week)
Terratrip 202 with Remote Reset
Terraphone
Race Seats
2" 4 point Harnesses (don't expire)
OMP Navigator's Footrest
Map Light
Fire Extinguishers
Bilstein Shocks Front and Rear
Adjustable Pedal Box
Hydraulic Handbrake
Braided Brake Lines
4 Wheel Disc Brakes
Electronic Fuel Pump
Recently Recored Radiator
Thermo Fan
Roof Vent
Near New Century Battery
4 Cibie Super Oscars on light bar (2 spotlights, 2 spread beams)
H4 Headlight Inserts
80amp alternator
Kill Switch
Battery located in Boot
Very good reinforced Sumpguard
Sill Stand Mounts
Lots and lots of spares will come with the car, plenty of wheels, tyres (including 2 basically new), guards, bonnet, spare roof, doors, windows and even a a complete spare car (De Luxe Model no less!). Also spare engine parts, including a spare block, heads, 3T Crank and internals for a bored out 1940cc version of the 2T-GEU engine.
$6500 for complete package.
Offers will be considered, depending on package negotiated.
Please PM or email me at mikey555 at netspeed dot com dot au for any further details.

So did you buy this Girlie, might be the closest thing you'll get to a Sprinter?

Her dream will only come true when she gets her hands on CraigW 's car - best Sprinter in the country! Only problem is, he doesn't want to sell.

girlie, im sure my 86 will be on the market at the end of the year,
if you havnt found one by then, im starting to get itchy feet as as it is,
Its a great car, I cant compare it to CraigW's car, is i couldnt find any reference to it, i may have to de-spec the engine and ECU to get it to the bugdet you were after in your other post though.
Ben.

Cathy is a bit biased.
From what I know of your car Ben, your's is much ligher and has a fair bit more power. Mine has all those lovely manufactured bits of aluminium in it.
