roof and bonnet resemble a golf ball and there is a small dent in the drivers door and sill , oddly enough there is no dents in the NAVs door but im sure in time some self preserving Rally driver will change that

Yep, there's definately dints in the roof and bonnet, but in all honestly I walk pass this car a dozen times a day and continue to forget they're there... Its really not that bad, and a few stickers will break it up.

A member of the Excel Series would buy a brand new roof (hatch/turret)and bonnet for less than $400.00 with the Hyundai parts support scheme for Excel competitors.

well Bargy depending to what level of preparation you like your car, From where it sits now i would personally be looking at some good suspension , a new set of good quality brake pads and a better exhaust system,
seam welding ? why !!!!!

You said in the first add that it has QFM race pads so you shouldn't need to replace them as they will easily do the job even for a left foot braker. Only reason you need to change the standard exhaust is so you can make it louder and you could run it with the standard suspension, just back of on the big yumps so you don't bottom out. Else your looking at whatever suits your budget there up to a max of about $4500- for the Murray Coote magic but with many good options under that. Only thing I can really see is intercom, tripmeter and spotties needed (maybe first aid kit, triangles, extinguishers as well). You definitely don't need to seem weld them. They are near unbreakable, although a few of us have tried. It is one of those jobs that I may do on a summer break (he says going into the fourth year of running the car - optional but not necessary and only because mine has had a few big hits). Most of the excels have pimples with hail damage or similar to start their lives as a rally car.

Yep, agreed! They were pulled out and sold when we were out of stock, but they'll be replaced before the car gets sold with a new set...
