Thanks for the vid. I think I was there... was that the year with the Colin Bond Ignis Alfa and the Kevin Bartlett Camaro? Am pretty sure it was on the Pipeline. It was a very impressive effort - you didn't look at a 120y the same after seeing that!
Good luck with the sale.

Hi Peter. Interesting to see some of the hype surrounding this sale. If only I had a crystal ball when I sold the car to you way back then. I would imagine you will do better out of the car than you would have had you invested in the stock market.. ( at the current rates of course)
just a quick question. Did you manage to locate the missing CAMS Log Book for the car. Last time we spoke you didnt have it.
Also, if you have any current photo's and a price please send to me at kevin@waggaglass.com.au I have a spare car space in the garage at the moment and have been on the lookout for something to fill in the little bit of spare time that I have.
Cheers
Kevin Roben

Yep. I was there too doing the finish control for the first run, which then became the start for the reverse run (the one shown on the clip).
Think I have some other clips somewhere from the event.

Any serious out there?
Hello Peter, anything doing?
I'm back from the Variety thing, but heading to Sandown in a couple of weeks.
Is there anyone as silly as me?
You know I'll look after it!

So Peter,
Did the car sell?
Who's the new owner?
Did it go to a collector? Driver? Merchant Banker?
Are you thinking about buying an island in the Pacific with the proceeds?
Will we see it again in a forest near you / me /us?
Lots of buns were flying earlier and now it has all fizzled out.
I am greatful for the links to the Toshiba rally sprint though, if nothing else.
Have a good one!

So you already know all the answers to your questions above.
Fake decent behaviour is annoying in the extreme.

Do NOT Vote 1 - Factor for President.
The last thing we need is a Mr CrankyPants at the helm. For crying out loud Mr Crawford - are you always that immature after midnight?

If I had known how this thread was going to progress, then I would have killed it immediately and asked the original poster to repost an ad that meets the rules, and then kept it free of commentary (including my own).
I am reluctant to do so now (mostly because of the time that has passed), however that doesn't mean that my earlier warning was made in jest.

At least this thread managed to tease out some history of not only this car, but the sport. I had all but forgotten it even existed.
