Toyota Levin AE86 Coupe (yes i cant believe i am selling it)

I think the time has finally come to say goodbye to a car that has been with me for 8 years (has it really been that long), through the good times and the bad. But all thing must come to an end.

1983 Toyota Levin AE86 coupe
Tower to tower CrMo cage, fully seam welded and plated
4age, Quad throttle Body, Wade cams, TRD springs, ported head, ACL race bearings, ARP rod bolts, TRD metal head gasket, Adjustable Cam gears, 7rib block with piston coolers, new 4-2-1 extractors with 2 ¼ inch exhaust. Oil Cooler with remote filter, all braided lines and speedflow fittings, alloy underdrive pulleys,
Toda lightweight flywheel, with heavy duty clutch from Specialist brake and clutch
EMS Stinger ECU
TRD close ratio T50 gearbox, with TRD quickshift, TRD LDS, 4.7 ratio diff.
Boot mounted alloy Fuel Cell, redundant Bosch pumps, 4 X Cibie Super Oscars on mount. Short steering arms for quick steering.
Sparco pro 2000 seats (could do with a retrim), Terratrip 404, terraphone professional, 4 point ADR harnesses,
Bilstein Front and rear gravel suspension (2 events old), steel strut tops, SBS dual Carbon pads with slotted rotors, braided brake lines,
Carbon Fibre door panels, nav foot rest, glovebox panel and rear fuel tank shield,
Car was rebuilt from the shell up beginning of 2006,
8 X 14 inch alloys with Dunlop Rally tyres

Also with New Ultimate 4AGE engine with 0 K/s
Carillo Atlantic rods, Cosworth Atlantic forged Pistons, ACL Race bearings, New High flow oil Pump
TRD Atlantic valve springs, Atlantic oversize valves, Shim Under Bucket valve lifters, Wade Cams,
Club Munyard (Mark Barnyard) ported Head, Wade CAMS, big injectors. This engine is good for 9000+ RPM all day and has cost more then the car to build.

Also available Tarmac rally suspension setup including,
Front lowered TRD adjustable coilover struts, tarmac springs and Cusco adjustable strut top’s
Rear TRD adjustable dampers and low tarmac springs
8 X 15 inch alloys with Silverstone Tarmac slicks, 2 still new,

Spares include bonnet, bumper’s, Full set of front lights, 4X rear set of lights, Diff housing, New axle, brake pads, front and rear brake calipers, all suspension components, spare flywheel and near new heavy duty clutch and much much more, too much to list.

Wins include, 2007 P2 clubman champion, 3rd outright 2007 Clubman championship,
Lots of class wins and top 10’s in 06, 07 and 08, F16 wins ARC ACT and QLD.

$17000 with new engine running and tuned all spares and tarmac suspension ready to run, negotiable down from there e.g. $11000 with current engine and spares but would prefer to seel everything together. (dont like the price dont buy it, i will just have to keep it longer )

This car is very fast easy to drive and is in immaculate condition and thoroughly maintained, only 1 DNF in 2 years (snapped axle ), Car available after Coffs ARC.

PM me for any more info and contact details
Ben.

im in the mood to go shopping trolley rallying

although it will still have 200hp, rev to high heaven, and wiegh under 1000kg
It will just be FWD thats all

I will have to do some rally's in Mathews Excel first to get my head around the whole FWD thing.

If someone wants to haggle I wouldnt mind some of the body parts. Or the new motor if I could just find the money (even the old motor for that) , now how much are V8 SLE's worth?

The Astra VXR is homologated....but then it's nowhere near 1000kg.

The 1.8 Barina is too...now that's a lot closer to 1000kg

Ok, i have been doing lots of research on trying to find an appropriate car, Just like Glenn is, yes i have been toying with the idea of building an GP A Opel Corsa, .
What is Making the Corsa stand out is huge spare parts availability, lots of aftermarket parts availble, and Homologation valid until 2014, but if i cant get more then 100KW ATW out of it i am wasting my time,

Ok now back to selling the Sprinter.

Good to see it sold. Probably the good showing at Tassie Challenge helped it go back there.
