FS Mazda 323 rally car at Ausrotary

Found this at Ausrotary and thought I'd post it here in case anyone is looking for what looks to be a cheap rally car. I don't know the seller, nor do I know anything about the car. If this is inapporpriate then mods please delete this thread.

I don't know much about these but it looks like the turbo AWD model (but I could be wrong)

That's what I was thinking too. Remember, the ad was at Ausrotary. Those guys generally aren't renowned for having an abundance of brain cells.

Fred has some part of a clue
Looks a lot like my Familia. Seems to need a kill switch and odometer, but would probably be a cheap entry into rallying. If only your could fit them with a more robsut fuse than the five-speed unit they come with....

GT4 Gear box, includes all Toyota running gear.
The BF require slight trimming/ strengthening of the left chassis rail
BG fit straight in, no trimming.
Last time I looked you could buy all required manufactured parts as a kit.
Check out other forums, it can be done and has been done plenty of times.
There was a NZ bloke doing a Evo gear box mod, should be done by now.

I will see what I can dig up, as I have removed all Mazda links "Cleanup times"
Was from a NZ laser/ Mazda Forum and a UK site from memory.

intresting conversion but I say having had a GT4 and a Mazda 323 4WD and now have a Evo rally car the Evo 4 conversion sounds better as the gear box parts for the Evo 4 on gear box are much ezyer to get and ther is a hole lot of opsions you can get for thr Evo 4 on gear boxs

the guy who has now got my old 323 4WD rally car is looking at a Evo gear box job which im gessing is ok for PRC ? shuld be
