Now for the bad bits… the engine decided to not rev as much as we would like on the dyno, it appeared to be some sort of exhaust restriction which we assumed was head flow issues but I ran out of time and money to look at it further. On the weekend, the exhaust spat out a heap of fibreglass filling and the muffler is looking a bit expanded. Replacing the muffler is obviously easy and I can fit one I have here before it sells, but it would be best to check the tune in case the new muffler makes a difference. It also needs a new balljoint, I have barely used ones in spare stock length control arms but haven't gotten to a press to change them.
Now for the really big one, price... $7,500 as described, can do it for $1,500 less with a stock head, cam and carby and $500 less with a standard LC diff with drum brakes.
Here is the most current pic I have of it, this is with my circuit suspension from my LA that was slotted in for a supersprint so the ride height etc is a bit different to then. Will try and get some newer pics the next time I am with the car in daylight.
