Evo 3 For Sale
It is with considerable sadness that I offer for sale my 2 event old genuine Evo 3.
This car is all standard running gear, only concessions are Banyard restrictor, air intake box with K&N, and straight thru exhaust. 190 psi comps. 50mm DMS, full length ubp, new slotted rotors and ceramic pads.
Comes ready to rally. The DMS is out atm for tween-rally service (rears are in Sydney for leak fix), but has Tein front and standard rear in, atm.
2 sets of wheels and tyres.
Between rego atm.
$15K, however I'd like to stay involved, so something RWD and cash adjustment my way (I need the cashflow) I would consider.
PM me please.
Kev

Actually, there's only 3 other cars I'd like to have a go at- a V8 of some description, a Stratos and a full on Group 4 Escort.
Unfortunately Centrelink refuses to deem my Uni student children independent, even though they will no longer live here with us (read: interstate). Luckily Chris has 3 jobs and gets free rent (she locums for that Vet), but I still pick up the bits. Dale won't have the same option.
And I doubt ongoing Baked Beans on Toast, as yummy as you know they are , would allow my tapeworm to adapt........

I'd have to twist someones arm.
Good price, and I have always wanted one (other than the familia).
What other spares other than wheels does it come with..

Just the smaller stuff: front brake rotors, I bought out MS's stash of hoses of all description, misc rear arms, relief valve etc. There's more but I'd have to look- as the car needed bits I'd just buy them, so far the only Ralliart part has been the manifold/ turbo gasket.
If you were to get some decent rear dampers and springs (copy the DMS that are normally in there?), you could have a spare suspension set- the Teins feel only marginally less refined than the DMS- don't know about on the dirt tho. They are a 50mm right way up monotube with a fairly hefty shaft.

Yes, it is.
Needs a mudflap replaced, and me to get my finger out and reassemble the front struts. Rear dampers are being rebuilt with new shafts as we speak- in Sydney.

Are those AJ 2004 head torches i see attached to the roll cage???
If so good effort, our Rover crew owns a 200B (Black Betty) we race here and there. Mainly built for Mudbash held in Vic but occasionally used at Motorkhanas and Khanacross'
Just a bit of random useless information
Good luck with the sale, I want turbo 4wd but i gotta learn how to drive first hahaha.....my LC gets pleanty of love though.
Cheers Matt

Wow!!
I s'pose it happens with lots of kids. All 4 have been to AJ's, Adelaide was the second, with Christine, Dale and my wife (leader) attending. Only Dale went to Elmore (2007?).
The lights work well enough, even JS borrowed one during his ill-fated run. Dale is in the process of procuring some uber billy-boilers for future events.

Maaaate, you'd have had a sale, with the Safari roof option....... not to worry.
The Evo is the most ergonomic rally car I've owned, equal with my HR and EH. Very comfortable.
