Service Crew for Alpine.

Tony and I need service crew for the Alpine in December.

At this point we have 1 person and while we're grateful for their help, unfortunately that just won't be enough to get us through the event.

If anyone can help us and the little red Lancer out, then we'd love to hear from you. Sharing service crew would be an option if I can't get another couple of bodies, so if you're willing to do that, then please let me know.

If I can't get enough people together, and we aren't talking an army here, just and additional couple of peeps, then we'll be withdrawing from the event (which we don't want to do as it's our first Alpine)

Do not even consider withdrawing !!

You don't have to nominate your service crew on the entry form, only your "designated official". Service dudes can be nominated later, if necessary.

If you only have 1 service person (though 2 would probably be better) to drive your service barge around - then make do with that. There will any number of people who will help you out at service if you strike trouble - that's how HRA events work ... and there will be plenty of Mitsubishi "gurus" down there.

Just be there - you have no option - RESISTANCE IS FUTILE !!

We'll just spend the whole weekend with Service Crew Envy. Although it will make the cost of accommodation that little bit easier .

If anyone's considering it, I can tell you that NotCap, Narooma and Bega this year were fuel, tyres and clean the windows events, as would RoC have been if we'd have done some preventative maintenance on the shifter mount bolts.

The Extend O Max must have been the culmination of two years of abuse, as most of the driveline proceeded to self destruct in SS3 and that was my first DNF since StarMart 2003.

I'll have MiniDulla and two days of Bathurst ARC and the sweep run at the BRM to shake down the new bits so that everything's back to normal for the Alpine.

I promise if you want to go and help other people we won't stop you if we've got nothing for you to do.

I believe we are going down following an invitation from the 0 Car (not sure if we are servicing for him or not ) If circumstances allow - we will be happy to help service for you and any of the other BMSC crews.

I don't think I'll be there, but I know that Harvey just spoke with Wagy last night, and I'm pretty sure he's going. He wouldn't ever turn down a rally friend in need if you needed him during the event. He knows a thing or six about Mitsu/Chryslers...

Like DaveTrees (I've always wondered... is that because you always end up in them??) said - I can't imagine you would ever be stuck for someone to help out if you only had one service crew member. Already sounds like that's not going to be a problem... good ol' rally community!
