Nav Register
With so many people after nav's lately i was thinking we could make a list (register) of current active nav's in the ACT/NSW area or further abroad depending on travel, could be done by just making this thread sticky, and if nav's just add there details to the list that way we can have a list that drivers simply look through and contact people directly to see if there available. Most people may not be available but helps with last minute finding or unexpected unavailablility of a regular nav.
Ill start:
Matty James
6.5 years experience - Mainly 2wd P3,P4, alos Ran in a vr4, and EVO 1
Location: Bomaderry (south coast) or dity coast as i like to say!
couple of class wins and 1 outright win and 3rd outright. also won silvercup in the ACT series.
naved with/for: Carl Stewart, Ian Forsyth, Claude Murray, Pete Ewing, Andrew Carloff, Russ Winks, Graham Thompson, Matt Amos, Glen farrant, Dean Price, Ryan Price, Brett Wright
My bits:
-Peltor Helmet with terraphone adaptor
Familiar with:
-Terratrip 202, 303 & 404 also used a brantz 2 and international
Like to sing and act like an idiot most of the time, but make sure i do the right things at the right time!
Contact: mattsjames@yahoo.com.au or PM me here!

Lisi Phillips - The Pickstock Racing Team
Located in South Australia
About 6 years experience in both 4wd and 2wd vehicles. I have pacenoting experience and do not have a problem doing roadbook events. I currently have a ride for the SA Rally Championship and there is a possibility to do some more NSW/ACT and VIC (fingers crossed, Kent) events later this year. I have done a few events in NSW this year (Mini'Dulla, Shakedown and Bega). Always looking to expand my horizons!
I can be PM's here or my email addy is tprtel@yahoo.com.au if you want a chat.
** My calendar is booking fast this year but I thought I would just let you all know I am here and am not afraid to travel to events if the timing is right.

Seeing as how I'm one of at least ten drivers looking for Nav's at the moment I might as well add myself to this list - at least this way I might get to rally somehow
Name: Kent Bedford
Location: Melbourne
Started Rallying: around 1987
Experience: most things from clubbies to the Dakar, pretty experienced on notes. Currently a bit rusty as I decided to do something really stupid and become a driver a couple of years ago. Have been described as "anal" for the amount of preparation and attention to detail that I put into an event.
Intercom headset: Stilo, but can get an adaptor for Peltor and I believe BlueRex makes an adaptor that will allow me to plug into a Terraphone.
Tripmeters: familiar with Brantz, pretty familiar with Terratrip, not as familiar with Coralba.
Build (for seat sizing): 6 foot, 81kg so tall/medium build.
Best bet is to contact me either by PM here or at kbedford at alphalink dot com dot au

Bob Selby-Wood
Age 56

40 years in the sport at International, National, State and Club levels. I compete sometimes when I feel like it. Building a car to have a drive as well. I will have a go at anything (well almost). I think it's about time us experienced Nav's helped the younger drivers with our knowledge.
I have ridden with Tony Sullens STi (1st Shakedown Rally 2005), Gerald Schofield EVO 6 (4th Shakedown Rally 2006), David Thompson STi (Bay Stages & Premier State 2005), Steve Forsburg Levin (Taree Ist Class P3) and Sean Casey Lancer in the last few seasons.

Name: Russell Taylor
Dimensions: 5'11" 80-85kg
Likes: Candlelit dinners, Walks on the beach, Cuddling by a roaring fire, and reading Jane Austin. Oh, wrong site!
License: NRN, AMSAG
Experience: 3 years, including *2008 ACT Novice Champion and 2010 NSW 2WD Clubman Champion. Have done a bit of pace-noted stuff now, so we'll tick that box too (actually, I'd probably rather run on notes than roadbooks anyway).
Have: Peltor headset, (have access to apadtors if required) and all the FIA approved gear up to national level.
Important: If you're after a one-off ride, asking for an entry fee might result in you needing to ask somebody else to nav for you. I'm not that cashed up, but I can get myself to most locations if needed.
If you're looking for a nav for a regular gig, I'm open to negotations.
Regardless, I'll do the very best I can to deliver the book/notes clearly and accurately. I love a laugh, big skids, and away from the car, I never take my self too seriously.
Most importantly, I drink Carlton Dry and Jack Daniels!
* = Also the finisher for the 2008 Bay Stages Boat Race championship winning team
