Is an engineers certificate required to register a rally car in Canberra - Brindabella Motor Sport Club

Does anyone know the RTA rules regarding registering a dedicated rally car in Canberra. I seem to recall that an engineers certificate was only required for a modified car requiring road registration and not for a dedicated rally car. Can anyone confirm this?

Can confirm

had the car in there last week, take the log book along with you they don't look at it but was handy for me and the rego papers had mistypes log book help sort this out. You need your cams license.

i got knocked back on front brake lines not attached to the struts probably who would of thought cable ties are not good for this. one thing i should of checked before hand, and holes in the floor , and oil leak where i think i missed cleaning a spot. and only had old rego papers, even had rally tyre's on

Thought i would just add to this instead of makeing a new thread

Anyway took the rally car throught the pits again today, after fixing all the things on the list 5 mins later was in the RTA handing over all the paper work.

Manage to get this sorted while still waiting on licence form cams.

over all my experence with the Dickson RTA has been a good one, fix all things they asked, even had some realy stupied things that should of been fixed before even taking the car over the pits in the first place.

Now that i have the car with rego, where can i find the rules ect regarding what i can and can't do with the car.

i know only rally assocated. to from repairs during daylight hours ect. But where do i find this in writing, just can't seam to find the nessory information that im after from canberra connect.
