Brake Fluid

After pouring 2 litres of the stuff into the Golf, it is now staying put! I have a bit of a cleanup job on my hands though
So what is the best way of neutralising the vile stuff so it wont dissolve any more of my interior paintwork? At least the damage is confined to the area under the Nav's seat so no one will see it. BTW it didn't touch the POR15 basecoat just the nice white topcoat.

The paint supplies place in the same street as Super Cheap in Fyshwick, or depending how much you want and if you want grey I have half a tin (maybe) of the stuff in the shed.

Top guys!! Very helpful.

Just remember that POR likes a very firm grip on the metal, back to bare and acid etch is best.
See here for more details

Good thing about it too, is that you can paint it on with a brush and its goes smooth

Too right. I sprayed POR15 all over my car trailer (chequer plate, where it dosent matter if there are brush strokes) getting the mess everywhere as you would expect, then brushed it onto my flat steel guards because I couldn't be bothered setting up the gun again. The paint on the guards is perfectly flat!

Their topcoat is similarly as good.

Problem is that neither is cheap.

Back on topic: Hot water works wonders for getting rid of brake fluid. Just use LOTS of it.

Ok, water it is then. Thanks, I knew there was a reason I hadn't made up the floor drain plugs yet
