Flexible Boom Mic for Helmet

Can you buy the Flexible Boom Mic for a helmet which uses the Peltor head set and mic. As my brothers one seems to have packed it in.

Can we also get more volume from our Professional Terraphone unit with the peltor setup.

Thanks for that Rowdy, I'll be in touch with bluerex if we end up saying with the peltor/terraphone combo.
A search today over the net didn't come up with much change out of 250 bucks for a new headset

We have an old terraphone headset which when wired up works fine and much louder than the peltor. Terraphone to terraphone hardware is no suprise.

Drama is, Nav would be all terra and not as neat on the helmet,
driver terra/peltor mix which is not as loud.

check ebay, there was a store on there selling Peltor helmets and intercoms in the US very cheap (Like the FMT200 intercom was about $600, as opposed to $2000+ AUD) he might have something, I'll see if I can find the store. Else there's always rallynuts.co.uk

EDIT: http://search.stores.ebay.com/GTF-ON...241313QQsofpZ0
Unfortunately he doesn't list just the headsets, might be worth contacting them just to check but not looking good unfortunately.

No good with that guy Kris. If you wanted some carbon bling for a lancer he's the bloke to see.

I think we'll just use wire in a terraphone to the peltor helmet.
You can get them for open face helmets for $80-90 new.

I bought a Stilo open face headset which included speakers and mic boom for around $100 from Barry Smith Motorsport. I think that Stilo and Peltor are compatable. Bluerex would know for sure.

The OMP intercom sets are a direct plug into the Peltor intercom and work fine without any adapters etc. No idea if they're any cheaper or have better availability though.
